8/20/2017

KARACHI: Syed Ibne Abbas, Pakistan High Commissioner to UK, has said that there was a huge potential of future collaboration and partnership in tourism and trade ventures between the two countries, a statement received here from London said on Saturday.

“Pakistan Consulate in Yorkshire is ready to extend any possible help for organising Business and Investment Forum in coordination with the local stakeholders to boost bilateral ties,” said the high commissioner during a meeting with Ron McMillan, CEO of ‘Welcome to Yorkshire’ (WTY), and his team.

The WTY is the official tourism agency for the traditional county of Yorkshire, the UK's largest county, promoting Yorkshire tourism both nationally and internationally.

During the meeting, Hasan thanked the WYT team making Pakistan Consulate a member of Y-30 Group for the projection of true image of Pakistan in the region and for Pakistan’s participation for the first time in ‘Tour de Yorkshire’ cycle race in April 2017.
